True Beese and Heavy Heart are the same person and also a J/80 sailor. I don't get the passive aggressive behavior here at times.

I do not remember deleting any weight rule in the NOYC SIs. As well, we published the SIs while in draft mode before review to build consensus with the sailors. This is a volunteer role, we are doing our best.

Regarding the current rules, I don't think anyone will protest too many crew members to your point Wednesday night sailing is all about introducing new sailors. However, if you feel it is that important, we will add a rule to the 2026 General SIs stating the crew limits have been waived. This of course would defeat the spirit of EZ CERTS that are aligned with crew weight.
