"As you may know one of the many traditions of the LPRC (Lake Pontchartrain Racing Circuit) regatta is to award the top spinnaker and non-spinnaker boat with a Red Jacket or Blue Jacket based on overall performance. On this occasion, the 40th Anniversary of the LPRC, the regatta planning committee wants to recognize the past winners of this prestigious award at the skipper’s meeting of this year’s regatta. The regatta will be held next weekend Oct 24-Oct 26. The Skipper’s Meeting will be held on Thursday Oct. 23, 2025 at 1900 at the New Orleans Yacht Club.

We plan to announce the boat and skipper name of each and every winner of the jackets and your presence is being requested. As we acknowledge each year’s winner, we will present you with a small gift of appreciation for being a valuable contributor of the rich history of the Lake Pontchartrain Racing Circuit."
