We respectfully request that our volunteer Race Committee exercise their best judgement in whether or not we sail tonight. Please keep safety and the preservation of our 76 year corporate charter in mind. Please know that we appreciate all you do. We understand that the last race in the dark, 20 plus knots of wind and 4-5 foot seas is difficult. We also understand that you are unpaid volunteers and this is probably at the very minimum the 6th time this year you have provided your services to our members and sailors. Again, big thank you and please move forward tonight in the best interest of your volunteer team, our membership and sailors.
