no it actually isnt really that long of a tow. we practiced today in light breezes (imagin that in southern calif.) and did pretty well. out of the 4 practice races we sailed we finished 2-1-1-2, so it seems we are up to speed. there is one team from imagine this.....Balboa yacht club.....that seems to have sailed the boats a good bit and their boat handling is pretty good, but ours got about up to their par at about halfway through the day. the boats are quick, and very very skinny on the bow. Ask Gary.

oh....Gary says the water is really cold too.
