yesterday my 70 y.o. mother got coldcocked by a 30 y.o. punk in a "road rage" incident, she'll be OK, he's now charged with felony assault, I'm getting the hell out of here

sending parents to family in Dallas, I'm headed to my office in Houston

don't even want to THINK of what combined deductible is

but first, I'll count my blessings that my family is alive and well, except for Mom's fat lip, we'll rebuild, revive and live to see another day, a New New Orleans and a resurgence of sailing on the Gulf. Let's use this opportunity to all get "modern" sailing craft, like Stars, Melgi, etc and finally lay to rest the Mac 26, Flying Scot, etc. Of course all this is just in fun, don't take anyting for the next few weeks too seriously unless it deserves serious thought and reflection. Lets pray for those who may have lost love ones, their life's savings, their livlihoods and do what we can to help them as best we can while we all rebuild our lives.
