Hello everyone,

I am in Baton Rouge doing a bunch of nothing. My family and I have been staying at my old college house not far from the LSU campus. My sister and her roommate have been grate taking all of us in. I ventured into New Orleans on Monday and it wasnt pretty. My boat/house Pompano is underwater with two boats stacked on top of it. I hope some of the other Easterly 30's survived. It would be horrible for that boat to be killed off by that freakin hurricane.

I plan on moving to Charleston as soon as some of this mess gets sorted out. I have applied for the marine biology program there and hope to have my masters in two years. In addition, I cant wait to sail for their incredible sailing team. LSU was the most incredible school, but they had no sailing team. I am excited to sail 420's around a little course. Should make my starting alot better.

I still plan on going to Brazil in 9 days. I cant wait. I have not been in my boat for awhile, but that shouldnt matter. I get there 4 days early and will be in the boat the entire time. Thanks alo everyone for your help, it meant the world to me.
