I took a trip down St. Charles Ave to the CBD today. Other than a lot of downed trees, broken windows and shingles on the ground, we're good to go. The buildings in the CBD have a lot of brokend windows. There is glass all over the streets. Some Yahoo! broke into the Sewell dealership and drove Corvette's through the windows for fun.

It will take some time to rebuild New Orleans. The world is wathcing and supporting us. I am very thankful for that.

I miss having a cold beverage at NOYC. Some things you take for granted. My new hang out (until NOYC reopens) is Bull's Corner in La Place and the Lava Room in Baton Rouge. Saw Holly and some of the Hooter's girls at Bull's Corner tonight. It was a blast.
