don't need a boat but since the military has moved in you really have to have your shit either together or be connected or good at running blockades and just plow your own trail...I am not connected so 3 out of 4 will get you in like me...actualy if can get into met....you could possibly get in over the bucktown walking bridge...or bring a boat and get in by water...I think ????? you can launch by bonnable or some other boat launch...kenner or someplace and definatly get in by water....
