Can you tell me where in my posts did I walk or talk like a liberal? Because I showed compasion for people in misery, who were suffering? If the Republican party is devoid of compasion, then I would have nothing to do with it. But I don't think that is true. I believe George Bush's talk of compasionate conservativism. I think that those who feel no sympathy are, in fact, the ones who are outside of the Republican core values.

But I am also honest enough to be able to conclude that FEMA did a poor job, even if it casts my president (and his appointments) in an unflattering light. How can republicans claim the right to run this country if this is the best we can do. Show a little integrity - admit to the failure, and go about fixing the problem.
