We, my family, were members of NOYC and owned the Siren in the early-to-mid-1960s. She was actually built in 1927 — the last of the Sound Interclub class. I tried to have a reunion with her last April when I visited New Orleans for the first time in 28 years. We didn’t find her then.

I know I saw a red hull and blue bottom on one of the picture sets posted on this site, but couldn’t tell from the angle or distance if it was the Siren. It sure had a red hull and blue bottom.

I’ve been wondering about her and looking at the destruction of the entire city. My wife is worried about how depressed I’ve been for the past two weeks.
