I have been seeing some postings that it is possible to get to the Orleans and Municipal marinas by using the Bucktown foot bridge. I am not a local but I need to get to my boat in Orleans marina. Are they letting out of towners into Jefferson Parish without local papers? I am old,round, can't run very fast and have been shot at before in a land far away and a time long ago. Don't want to be anyones' target or get in the way. So, the question remains oneth by land or twoeth by sea. Any additional information on the land approach is definitely appreciated.
