I am not in the area but I do live where water floodes houses a couple of years back. Fema was involved in the cleanup. They told people then that if a house was under for 8 days or longer, and this was fresh water, that is is not salvageable. That is not to say that is the case in salt water, but one has to consider what happens to wood submerged for a long period of time. Of course,there may be new science that changes that.
