Bad Dog, sorry I missed you. Got to the marina on Friday and left on Monday with two crew. It took 27 hours for us to find a way out of the lake. We got some bad info from several official sources about bridges. Sailed to the the Industrial canal only to find the Hwy 90 bridge was inop and we were 6 feet too tall. That took from 0330 to 1200 to finally find out the bridge was not going to opem. Then to the Regolets to find that one closed. Then down toward Chef Menteur from the Regolets only to find thin water. Then back to the marina to see if we could find someone to lay the mast down. Then we were told a way to get out of the Chef pass by one of the crain operators. Back across the lake and we finally got to the ICW . That was at about 0100 on Saturday. After that we had no problems getting throuth the Algiers lock only to find that the bridge beyond was inop. Back through the Algiers to the Harvey and we were through it about sunrise on Saturday. The rest went about the same but we just kept at it until we reached our home port at 0900 last Friday.
