Fats, The scot really perfectly fits the bill for the GYA boat, but it is dated now, and re-investing in the Scot means we are into them for another 10 years at least. It ought to be really dated in 10 or 15 years. With all the excitement for X-sports, kids want to go fast if they are going to sail. Hence the 29er, 49er, Melges etc. taking up market share.

Now is definitely the time to consider if a change to an assymetric type boat is a good idea, and if it is a good idea, what boat fits the bill.

Seems the U-20 would be ideal, but the price is not right.
