NOO, more like watching a Lipton's flying scot measurement. I really liked the part where the Army Corp of Engineer guy reads out the measurement. So what if the piling met spec, was the spec right for the soil in that area? Given the height of the levee where the pile was being driven and the depth of the muck in that area, the piling couldn't have penetrated anything but swampy muck!
Looking at that work crew and the bystanders, its no wonder it takes so long and cost so much to work on a levee. There had to be 50 people watching. It took about 25 minutes to pull the first piling and frankly I couldn't watch anymore to see if they learned anything to become more efficient. At that rate, it would take a couple of years to rebuild the 17st canal levee.
