The lake area PHRF representative has term limited off of the handicrap rating committee and it is time to find a replacement. The past representative barely raced his boat three times in three years. He also did not seem to be in regular attendance of rating meetings or any local or non local phrf racing during the past year. Please do not get me wrong as he is a fine gentleman, but just did not add any value to the committee over the past three years other than a puppet. It only seems fair that his replacement would come from another lake club other than his to add some fairness and balance to the situation. Some folks will say that their club has over 100 boats registered with PHRF and they need a representative on the rating committee. The truth is less than 15 of them are still floating.
Please add your comments as to who you think should replace the most inactive handicrapper in the history of handicrapping. Be prepared to discuss at the big offshore meeting coming soon.
