Thanks for the kind words.

So everyone knows, the NOYC.info and the Message Board (aka BADDOG's Message Board) never went out of service thoughout both storms. The ISP is located outside of the New Orleans area.

NOYC.org was hosted in downtown New Orleans and was significantly impacted. We had to shop for some hosting sites which met our requirements.

We should thank SYC, the GYA, US Sailing, CNN, Yahoo! and others for linking the message board to web sites so people could connect and share stories.

Special thanks to John Wolf for supporting and maintaining the web site during the disaster.

We owe Bill Prichard of IMI Marketing a lot of thanks for hosting the web site for free over the last six years!

Mike Howell has also been instrumental working behind the scene to keep the systems running. Way to go Mike!

Dale Steinkamp (unofficially retired from NOYC.org) and Troy Gilbert and others help produce some content as well as the many entertainment related posts on the forum.

Unfortuntely the new ISP costs $$$, so we'll have to depend on advertisement revenue to fund the project.

We can look forward to timely race results via wireless technology posted directly from the RC boats, online registration and much more humor from the message board in 2006.
