Well I don't want to be nice and sure as hell don't want to get a room with ya especially after the stuff your wife told me what unfeeling lout you are…she used other words too, but I always get in trouble using them on the board....but I think you sort of prove the point you went out twice put on a life jacket and flipped both times....one of two things...life jackets cause boats to flit...or maybe you know when to put one on...being responsible for yourself and made the correct decision.

I think the master of Haute Couture, Good intentions, proves another point ...every boat should have rules or a ruler, I think they call him, Captian. As people have heard me tout on my boat I am lord god king of all I stand on...(no wonder my boats keep getting smaller) and as such I carry full responsibility...most good boats with good crew...racer or cruiser use experience to tell them when to suit up.

Which brings up third point....if you don't know and are questioning if you should put one on, then you all ready passed the point where you should have....be that at the dock or on Good Intentions at 5 knots instead of 10 if you aren't sure of yourself...

Hell, last race, with our old crew, it had been a while since we had sailed together....I put my jacket on early cause I know how bad they are without me, I could be in the water for hours...if they come back at all...
