No one to blame here. We worked early (before October) directly with the GYA - not SYC - a mistake.

The idea to have MGR a week prior to J/22 MW as aa warm up race is an excellent idea which should have been discussed earlier in the year.

NOYC didn't contact SYC, SYC didn't contact NOYC. We're not talking even though we're a few feet apart from one another. Go figure.

In my opinion, the scheduling process should be driven by the GYA (not SYC). Bish is going everything possible to improve the process. But if YCs do not participate, conflicts will continue.

This is the second regatta in a row that SYC scheduled a major event on top of us. I am sure this is not intentional.

Can anyone tell me when the SYC scheduling committee meets? Is NOYC invited by chance? We will try to do the same. If possible, please educate how the process works.
