I wanted to say a few words about today's scheduling conflict issues. We are currently working to resolve scheduling conflicts as everyone would agree that we need a better process. Schimbob, the current SYC scheduling zar, Katie, Paul and myself are in the process of working with SYC to avoid these types of problems in the 2008 and an beyond.

With the above said, I want to ask for full support from everyone for both events. Team racing and Leukemia Cup - North Shore, Finn Masters warmup are all important. We expect the impact of the scheduling conflict to be limited to 9 sailors from SYC, BWYC (if they aren't chicken) and NOYC. The Finns, board boats and Optis sailors can't attend the Team Racing event, etc...

There are several teams coming from the East Coast to include NYYC, Boston YC, LYC, etc...
