jackpot is now owned by Bert Brown, he is prominent realtor in the Garden District. I had a breif conversation with Bert a few weeks ago, and brought up the rumor, he added a rolling furler to his boat, a J30. Bert said that he still had all his One Design sails for racing, but just wanted to make it easy for shorthanded sailing.
Bert is a strong sailor, and entering this kind of one design will be a new step, that he will be able to take comfortablely.
