I had orginally went thru US Sailing, which used the GOWrie group and got a good price with GEICO, BUT last year GEICO, no longer writes policies thru agencies! So I started shopping other policies, which some were slighly cheaper after GEICO's rate increase, BUT any new policy requires a Recent out of water survey! About a b.o.a.t Buck (bring on another thousand). Plus haulout! Long story short, I resigned to go direct with GEICO, although more expensive, at least till next bottom paint job, where I'll price policies again. Before haulout, so if i need a survey can be done at the same time.
