Outside of our lake and GYA fishbowl, hope everyone will celebrate Ryan Finn winning the latest Seahorse Sailor of the Month Award for his New York to San Francisco passage accomplishment. If you are not familiar with Seahorse magazine, it’s the best sailing magazine there is if you want to keep up with the latest in international small boat and big boat racing and technology (and the photography is just spectacular). Ryan won this as a result of voting by Seahorse readers (an international audience) and the comments made by some very notable world class sailors on Ryan’s tenacity (and his grit) were very well placed.
