In all seriousness as far as I can tell, from what experienced, witness and heard regarding our lack of attendance. NOYC C cup leadership family had some tragic deaths recently. Two members with boats the team desired did not want to participate (certainly their right and no excuses needed). Low commitment and limited interest from most of the sailors (not sure why). Expense. Logistic nightmare. Poor understanding of ORRez and new PHRF. Did not like prior year wind selections by RC used for rating. SYC only one sailing ORRez on the coast. Similar reasons were given by other club sailors in the GYA. Absolutely no reflection on Pensacola YC as a host. They are extremely hospitable and have the perfect venue.
