We are excited to announce that New Orleans Yacht Club, along with other clubs and sailing associations, will be participating in “Community Sailing Race Week,” a series of events designed to raise public awareness and offer fundraising opportunities for the benefit of Community Sailing New Orleans, Inc. (CSNO). The events will include NOYC’s Wednesday Night Race on September 28; high school, SYC Handicap and Classic Class racing on Saturday, October 1; One Design racing (including CSNO’s fleet for CSNO’s youth and adaptive sailing programs) on Sunday, October 2; and a BBQ Bash at CSNO’s Sailing Center on the evening of Saturday, October 1.

There will be no registration fee for participation in any of the racing; however, participants are encouraged to assist fundraising efforts by raising a minimum of $100 per boat. This can be accomplished through donations made through the Race Week Website at https://one.bidpal.net/csno/welcome (use link below). For those interested in assisting in the fundraising effort, you can do so through a Team Site, which will allow you to seek donations from crew, family and friends; if interested in establishing a Team Site, please contact Margi Sunkel at: margaret@nolacommunitysailing.org .

As you can see from the attached Flyer, sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels. We hope you and/or your business will consider supporting CSNO by serving as a sponsor at one of these levels. You will receive recognition before, during and after each of the five days of events, including recognition on official Race Week t-shirts, and opportunities to address the audience at one of the daily trophy presentations. Sponsorship also includes tickets to a Patron Party and BBQ Bash where 150-200 guests are expected to enjoy food, music, raffles, and a live auction.
