So "The Real Girl" is saying that their bowperson can illegally tell somebody to fall off because it is for the "best sake " of the boat in question. The question was not how the boat sailed or the other boats and the course they took. With that mentality than everyone should sail the same way and whomever wins wins.

Just admit you were wrong, it will free your spirit and be good for the sport.

The statement that everyone went down is like saying "everyone else followed XXX so we did too." Maybe if The Bear did that they would not have as many red jackets....
