We have a B&G VHF that we need to get the mic/mic cord replaced. It’s hard wired to the unit so requires a technician and shop. Any recommendations on local marine electronics repair shops that can do that?

Also, we’re looking for good shallow water areas (2’-3’) for anchoring on the south shore with relatively sandy bottom and clearer water. I was advised that the area east of Lakefront Airport is good for that (along the levee along Hayne Blvd).
