I'm glad this discussion is starting early! I am going to produce a list of all the ORR-Ez and ORA-1 boats in the GYA ranked by their benchmark ratings (IR# TOD) and showing their Rated Crew Weights. This will aid clubs in assembling their teams sooner rather than later. Of course, the Offshore Council will have to sign off on the class breaks.

One idea to accommodate more boats and clubs is to have overlapping class breaks, wherein a segment of boats might be eligible for either A or B class, etc. I'd be interested to hear feedback on that. Would it help clubs to field a team?
