You’re making a lot of assumptions that are not necessarily correct. In ultra light air the non spin class has been in the middle of the spin class multiple times in the past. The J/80 is not the fastest boats on the course (maybe by handicap) most of A class boats are in front of the 80s under normal conditions. Best sailed boats might be a long shot too, non of the 80 sailors that sailed last week are national champions or olympians. When conditions are light any boat can be a hero last week it was 2 of the 4 80s this week could be an entirely different boat. Let’s not have one extremely light air race change the direction that will build a od fleet and get sailors who typically only want to sail od come to sail wnr.
Maybe someone could reach out to Doug with the flyer ghost and the j/27s and rebuild b class instead of complain.
