Joe raised the zoning height to greater than 65 feet to facilitated three floors of costly “special taxing district” paid parking fees. The latest consultant estimate is >$50M in building costs for the parking garage and (4) rooftop themed bars. NOYC is going to love the street metered parking to drive behavior. Same recipe as Six Flags/ Jazz Land. Taxpayer based loan worry about the details later.
