J80 class getting 8 boats out is fantastic. Incredible high competition fun. Just little tweaks, using a touch of back stay, rig tension, one hole adjustment on jib, 1/4 inch off jib halyard. Four boats rounding baby J overlapped. Lead changes. Best Wednesday Night Racing fun to be had on Lake Pontchartrain. This class has a great future here in NOLA. I would love to see 10 boats on the line next Wednesday. If ORRez is not working out for you it might be time to join this class. Truly best keel boat racing I have been involved with in past 20 years.
