For those that do not know Lake Charles got pummeled twice by two large Hurricanes over the past couple of years. The damage was severe.

Good Morning fellow yacht club sailors,
Hope all is well for you this day. I am commodore of the Lake Charles Yacht Club and am writing to your club to ask for Sunfish sailboat help. Our club was erased by Hurricne Laura and badly uninsured for the Covid re-construction costs. We managed to scrape enough to rebuild our clubhouse and invite you to visit anytime. We would like to add you to our newsletter email list so you can stay in touch with our club activities and visit anytime.
I’m emailing today to ask for help rebuilding our SUNFISH fleet. We saved 4 boats but badly need RUDDERS, DAGGERBOARDS, SAILS, TILLERS, ratchet blocks and center bailers. IF you have any of those items to DONATE or SELL, we are interested in hearing about them. All the Gulf Coast Clubs have suffered similar hurricanes and we have always supported each other. I hope to hear from you soon should you have any items to DONATE of SELL. Please also watch for our newsletter in your email.
