Seabrook Railroad Bridge Potential Closure
We are looking to start some work on the Seabrook Railroad bridge from November 22, 2024 until March 22, 2025. The work will be performed from 6:30 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. During work hours, the contractor will have a 35 ft. wide work barge in the channel. Vessels that can safely pass with the barge in place will be allowed to pass through the bridge as normal. However, vessels that cannot safely pass with the barge in place must contact the bridge operator two (2) hours in advance to schedule passage, and the barge will be moved and bridge opened for passage of the vessel at the scheduled time, which will be coordinated with the railroad. The work barge and any other waterborne equipment will be removed from the main channel at the end of each work day.
