Congrats to SYC and Class Winners. Secret Sauce for winning class is obvious. No bathrooms, no holding tanks, no fuel tanks, no stearn pulpits, no bow pulpits, no engines and no life lines. SYC did win A class on a handicap boat with a Melges 32 planted in their face on every beat and that is difficult. The other class winners had no lifelines, no engines, no bow pulpits, no stearn pulpits, no fuel tanks nor holding tanks. Basically racing F1s against Station Wagons. GYA did this to save the regatta from extinction. No complaining here, I just want everyone to have the recipe for next year. Time to leave the GYA and start GOAYC= GULF OF AMERICA YACHTING ASSOCIATION. Carry on.
