Actually, this year the boats that did the best had big genoas and/or Code 0 for the reaching legs. The big genoas worked best in the light winds in the distance race and the W/L courses. It seemed that different boats did well as the conditions changed and was a hard fought regatta.

From a GYA perspective, put up or shut up. Make a serious rule proposal and send it to the Offshore committee.
