RULES Racing Rules of Sailing 2004-2008, Prescriptions of US Sailing, The Mardi Gras Regatta Sailing Instructions shall govern in the event of conflict. Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.
ENTRIES PHRF: Spinnaker & Non-Spinnaker
Minimum 4 boats required to constitute a class.
ADVANCE
REGISTRATION Yachts may pre-register on-line. Yachts may register by completing the entry form and sending it, with payment to NOYC at the above address or by bringing it to NOYC during registration.
FEES
The entry fee is $20.00. US Sailing members may deduct $5.00 with valid membership.
Saturday 3/08 0900hrs Club Open - Coffee and Donuts
0900 to 0945hrs Registration
1000hrs Skipper’s Meeting - Mandatory
1125hrs First Warning Signal – Other races to follow
After Race Music and Food
Sunday 3/09 0800hrs Club Open - Coffee and Donuts
1000hrs First Warning Signal - No starts after 1300hrs
After Race Party Food and Music
Awards As soon as practical
NUMBER of RACES PHRF – A total of 4 Races will be attempted.
SCORING The Low-Point scoring system of Appendix A will apply, except that each boat's total score will be the sum of her scores for all races; no score will be excluded.
PRIZES Prizes will be awarded 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for each class
